It was 1975 when audio/visual equipment technician Ron Bowring bought Kent Business Systems, a sales and rental outlet for office equipment. Ron immediately saw the need for the expansion into the audio-visual market, and began to invest in what is now a vast inventory of audio-visual equipment. With an initial focus on sales, rental and service of AV equipment, Ron eventually developed a show services department, and a video production department, making Kent Audio Visual a full-service name in the audio visual industry. In 1990, Mr. Bowring invested in J&S Audio Visual, whose main office is located in Dallas. With multiple locations in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Louisiana and more, the inventory and personnel available to the Wichita location was greatly increased. The company became international when it opened offices in Mexico in 1995.
